Greetings Friends! My name is Steve Bender and I have lived in Livermore since 1988. After I retired last year I vowed to spend my time doing things I actually wanted to do, rather than things I had to do. My lifelong love of animals led me to start my own business, Dogfather Pet Services LLC, and I have found the work to be a fun and rewarding experience. I knew I would love caring for the animals, but I didn’t realize I would so enjoy just meeting people and getting to know them as friends.
I have a lifetime of experience caring for my own family pets, including senior pets and pets with special needs, dispensing medications and managing restricted diets. I am a member of Pet Sitters Associates and am licensed, bonded, and insured. I promise to care for your pets as if they were my own. Your pets’ welfare and your satisfaction will be my top priority.
